Apply for NATSIMO’s 3-day songwriting intensive, RESONATE

Taking place 28-30 May at 4000 Studios in Meanjin/ Brisbane during Reconciliation Week

Open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander APRA AMCOS members nationwide - Submit your Expression of Interest!

Applications are open for the 2024 NATSIMO RESONATE program. RESONATE is a 3-day songwriting opportunity for mid-career and established Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songwriter and producer APRA AMCOS members.

The NATSIMO's aim for the program is to foster an inspiring and inclusive studio environment and for all participants to be immersed in the process of co-writing and collaboration.

Collaborating with the successful applicants will be:

International special guest is Noema Te Hau III from Aotearoa/New Zealand.

RESONATE celebrates our unique cultural voices by establishing powerful connections between our members and the wider music community.”

An impressive list of tracks have been penned at RESONATE. We have seen the release of Tasman Keith’s ‘IDK’ from his ARIA-nominated and AMP-shortlisted album A Colour Undone. Tessa Thames released ‘Cherry Blossoms In Tokyo’ also featuring Tasman Keith and produced by 18YOMAN. Jem Cassar-Daley penned her track ‘King of Disappointment’ with Brendan Boney at the 2022 NATSIMO RESONATE, which is currently sitting at nearly 3 million streams on Spotify alone.

Travel and accommodation are provided; each successful applicant receives an $800 honourarium.
