In this masterclass, Jaime Gough and Tyler McLoughlan will break down the different roles that a Music Publisher and a Licensing Agent undertake when representing songwriters and their works.

Jaime Gough is Managing Director of independent music publisher Native Tongue Music Publishing, overseeing offices in Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland. He is also a Director of the Australasian Performing Right Association Limited (APRA), the Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society Limited (AMCOS) and the Australasian Music Publishers Association Limited (AMPAL).

On her return from London as a music license broker with Ricall, Tyler McLoughlan founded The Sound Pound in 2011, a Brisbane business specialising in music supervision and clearances, composition, and sync representation for independent music across advertising, film and TV. Tyler is a passionate copyright & sync educator for both music creators and music users. Her most recent projects include music supervision/licensing for Lunatics (Netflix), Incarceration Nation, Bowled over: A Dragumentary, Robbie Hood (SBS), the Brisbane 2032 Olympic bid to name a few.
