The APRA Music Awards are back for 2022 and we are calling on APRA Members to nominate for the Most Performed Blues & Roots Work. The winner of this category is determined by broadcast performances on radio and TV, as well as digital downloads, streaming and live performance.

If you have had a Blues & Roots release between 1 July 2020 and 30 September 2021 and it has been played on the radio, broadcast on TV, digitally downloaded, streamed or performed live, you are eligible to nominate your works.

Songwriters should provide the following details:

  • Album title
  • Song title with composer details
  • Date of release

If you need to submit multiple albums, you may fill out another form once you have submitted this form. This also applies if your album has more than 15 tracks - simply fill out a second form.

Deadline for nominations is Thursday 17 February 2022.

Nominees for the Most Performed Blues & Roots Work will be announced at the end of March, with the winner acknowledged at the APRA Music Awards in May 2022 in Melbourne.

All queries should be directed to [email protected].
