New Nashville Rep announced

Media Published Thursday 2 November 2023

After 10 years as APRA AMCOS Nashville member services representative, renowned Australian producer Mark Moffatt (Yothu Yindi, The Saints, Tim Finn) is exiting the role to return to his roots as producer and guitarist.

Australian songwriter Isabella Kearney-Nurse is stepping into the position and the two will work together in a transition period over the coming months.

Mark’s two-decades-long involvement in the Nashville community and industry has shaped the role and impacted opportunities for both resident and visiting APRA AMCOS members.

Moffatt stated, “We’ve planned more than ample transition time, which I’m confident will give Isabella the opportunity to get to know and work with the ever-growing APRA AMCOS Nashville member base.”

Isabella has been living in Nashville since 2021 and is an excellent resource for Australian and New Zealand members.

Originally from Sydney and signed to Sony Music Australia, Isabella has worked with producers and writers including Oak Felder, The Orphange, David Hodges, Liz Rose and more. Credits include Jessica Mauboy’s single ‘Jealous’, Guy Sebastian’s ‘Only Thing Missing’, and she co-wrote the single ‘Conditions’, which was chosen as a finalist on the US TV show Songland.

“I couldn’t be more excited to step into the Nashville Rep role and connect with APRA AMCOS members as they navigate the industry and the opportunities that are available here. I’m seeing firsthand the meaningful work that Mark has done onground in Nashville and I’m grateful to be able to learn from him ‘on-the-job’,” said Isabella.

“I look forward to welcoming members when they come to Nashville and to continue to support our local members who have helped to build a really special community here.”

An official farewell for Mark will be held sometime in 2024.
