ELECTION STATEMENT
I have served on the APRA Board for 16 years, and am also on the Audit Risk and Culture, Services and Technology, and Operations committees. I am currently Chair of the latter.
In addition to my appointments at AMCOS, I have been a director of the AMPAL Board for 19 years, and Chairperson for almost 11 years.
I believe that I bring a unique perspective to all my roles – I am the Managing Director of a multinational publisher for Australasia, but on a day-to-day basis remain heavily involved in all business functions, including copyright, royalties, legal, and finance. Such involvement necessitates regular contact with multiple departments within APRA AMCOS, and provides me with great insight into the operations of the company. My work at ICMP and WCM provides me with valuable insight on international issues.
Through my position as Chairperson of AMPAL, I act as a liaison between publishers and APRA AMCOS, and believe that this continued involvement - at all levels – will remain vital in ensuring our members are fully-supported. If re-elected by the membership, I will continue to strive for balanced and fair representation in the interests of all rights holders, and provide a moderate, experienced, and reasoned voice at the Board.
