Successful applicants will receive access to a fully-equipped studio, mentoring and creation of professional assets.
4000 Talents encourages applicants that represent the diverse cultures that make up our Australian music community.
In partnership with 4000 Studios, we are excited to introduce 4000 Talents, an opportunity that provides free access to studios, mentoring and the opportunity to work alongside some of Australia’s leading music creators!
The program offers two creatives a one-month residency each at the Studio 4000 premises, with:
- 1-month residency at a fully-equipped studio at 4000 Studios
- Mentoring with 4000 Studios artist residents
- Professional assets including photo and video documentation of your residency
4000 Talents is specifically looking for role models that represent the diverse cultures that make up our Australian music community. For example, but not limited to, Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, people with culturally or linguistically diverse backgrounds that have been underrepresented, and people who identify with the LGBTIQAP+ community.
4000 Studios is a Meanjin-based music studio complex that launched in March 2022 that aims to be Brisbane’s breeding ground for new talent, lay a foundation for sustainable careers, and boost diversity in music.
