6-month mentorship, mentees receive $3,000 to cover expenses

Women and gender diverse APRA AMCOS members at a pivotal stage of their career are invited to apply for the 23% Mentorship. 

14 positions are available for the six-month program. 10 positions are for members living in Australia, and an additional 4x positions for Australian members living in Europe/ UK and North America.

The program is open to all musical genres and practices and will match mentees and mentors to align with career stage, goals and priorities.

Each successful applicant will also receive AU$3,000 towards projects or work-related expenses and/or travel.

Since the mentoring program began in 2018, 98 mentees have taken part including BVT, Eliza Hull, Ayda Akbal, Victoria Pham and more. 

ABOUT THE 23% MENTORSHIP

• 6-month mentorship (July - December 2026)
• 1x mandatory face-to-face meeting and a minimum of 5x further meetings either in person, via phone, video or email
• 14 Mentorships in total between an Australian APRA AMCOS member & an industry professional
• 4x Mentorships for members located in UK, Europe and North America
• Participants paired based on career stage, goal focus & priorities (rather than genre)
• Funding: Each successful applicant will receive AU$3,000 to cover any work-related and/or travel expenses during the mentorship
