Applications for RESONATE 2025 closed Friday 2 May
Mid-career and established Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songwriter and producer APRA AMCOS members nationwide are invited to apply to NATSIMO's RESONATE 2025. Bringing together top talent from across the country, RESONATE fosters creativity and innovation as songwriters, music producers, and artists collaborate on writing and recording new music.
The program takes place from 10-13 June 2025 at Brisbane’s 4000 Studios. Please note - applicants must be available for the full period 10-13 June to be considered for this opportunity.
Work with collaborators DOBBY, BADASSMUTHA (Alinta McGrady), Zeppelin Hamilton (Velvet Trip), Sachém with more TBA. Assisting in the studio will also be Special Guest Producers Anna Laverty and Pip Norman.

Key information
- When: Tuesday 10 June- Friday 13 June 2025
- Where: 4000 Studios, Brisbane, Queensland
- Expenses: Travel and accommodation are provided for the RESONATE program in Brisbane. Each successful applicant will also receive an $700 participant fee
- Notification: Applications close Friday 2 May 2025, with successful applicants notified Friday 9 May 2025.

Requirements to undertake the opportunity
- Applicants must be Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, self-identifying and be recognised by their community.
- Age requirement: Applicants must be 18 years old by 1 June 2025.
- Only one application per person will be accepted.
- Applications must be fully completed to be considered eligible.
- Eligibility is open to applicants from all over Australia.
- Applicants must possess a current ABN.
- Applications can be in written or audio-visual formats. For more information about this, contact the NATSIMO at [email protected]
- Successful participants must commit to the entire program, including potential travel on Monday 9 June 2025, to and from Brisbane.
- Applications must be submitted by Friday 2 May 12:00AM (AEST)
