Congratulations to Aotearoa producer and songwriter Frano Huett and New York-via-Perth composer and bassist Linda May Han Oh for their 2023 Grammy Award honours.

Frano is a producer and songwriter on 'Rich Spirit' from Kendrick Lamar's Best Rap Album winner Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers, which was also an Album of the Year contender.

Working with some of the best in the game, Frano also produced Vince Staples' 'When Sparks Fly', from the 2022 album RAMONA PARK BROKE MY HEART.

A 2020 Art Music Award-winning composer, Linda played bass on Terri Lyne Carrington's New Standards Vol. 1., which took home Best Jazz Instrumental Album. The album is "Carrington’s efforts to broaden male-dominated sheet-music repertoire by including women composers," featuring a stellar quintet of players.

Fun fact: in Pixar's Soul, Linda is both the double bass player and the model for the player in the fictional jazz quartet.

It was a standout year of nominations for Australian and New Zealand members - congrats to all!
