Our members join the Queen's Birthday Honours List 2022

The 2022 Queen’s Birthday Honours List recognised an incredible ten APRA AMCOS members for their services to the arts.

Four members were honoured with the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM); composer and jazz pianist Joe Chindamo, violinist and musical director Christopher Latham, celebrated country music singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Beccy Cole, and acclaimed jazz and cabaret performer Libby O'Donovan.

For their services to the performing arts, iconic vocal duo and performers Vika & Linda Bull, as well as Australian songwriter, guitarist, radio personality Greg Champion, were honoured with as a Member (OAM) in the general division. Ian Dickson and Billy Baxter both received Member (AM) honours, for their ongoing service to the industry over many years.

In New Zealand, hip hop artist Bill Rangi Urale, known by his stage name King Kapisi, was honoured with the New Zealand Order of Merit for his contribution to music and the community.

For service to the performing arts.

For service to the performing arts.
