We're excited to be returning to Nannup Music Festival for a very special SongCraft session that you won't want to miss.
Uncle Peter Salmon is the last fluent speaker of the Thiinma and Warriyangga languages of the Upper Gascoyne region of Western Australia, and in his 80s became a songwriter and performer to ensure it lives on in song. He has collaborated with linguist and musician Rosie Sitorus from the Bundiyarra-Irra Wangga Language Centre, and they will be in conversation together on Sunday at the festival to discuss their musical project, Warralguyniya.
