Apply for NATSIMO’s 3-day songwriting intensive, RESONATE COUNTRY

Taking place 20-22 January 2025 at Mad Proppa Deadly Studios in Armidale, NSW, followed by showcases at Tamworth Country Music Festival 23-25 Jan

3x positions open to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander APRA AMCOS members nationwide – closes 20 November


Mid-career and established Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander songwriter and producer APRA AMCOS members nationwide are invited to apply to NATSIMO's RESONATE COUNTRY 2025. Presented by Sound NSW and APRA AMCOS, this 3-day songwriting program is the first of its kind for the Indigenous music community and country music in Australia.

The program takes place from 20-22 January 2025 at Armidale's Mad Proppa Deadly Studios, followed by showcase performances at the Tamworth Country Music Festival on 23-25 January. Please note - applicants must be available for the full period 20 - 25 Jan to be considered for this opportunity.

Work with collaborators Gling Hunt, Joey Leigh Wagtail, Kyarna Cruse, Luke Peacock, Maddi Colville Walker and Warren H Williams, with more TBA. Some high-profile special guests will also be dropping in throughout the program including 13-time Golden Guitar winner, Matt Fell, and Nashville-based, multiple APRA Music Award winning Phil Barton.

Applications close 12:00am AEDT 20 November.
