RSVP to Insights: Inside Sound - Shaping Your Tracks with Roland
Shape your sound in a practical workshop designed to help you craft and enhance your own tracks.
Roland instruments have played an essential role in electronic music over the years, becoming the foundation of genres like house, techno, electro, and hip hop — from 808 and 909 drum patterns to acid basslines on the 303 and the unmistakable sound of the JUNO.
Presented by Synth Product Manager, Leroy Amphlett, from Roland - Inside Sound: Shaping your tracks with Roland is a beginner to intermediate workshop that breaks music production down to its core elements — showing how drums, bass, chords, melodies, and textures combine to create a finished track.
With a focus on electronic music genres like house, techno, and Electronic Dance Music, this session unpacks a track layer by layer, exploring how each part plays its role and how to shape sounds that work together in a mix. You’ll see how Roland instruments are used in real-world production and layered to iconic dance music sounds and genres, while also getting insight into the legacy behind some of the most iconic sounds in modern electronic music.
This is about making production feel clear, practical, and achievable — giving you a better understanding of how to build, shape, and refine your own tracks.
Perfect for beginner to intermediate producers, musicians, and songwriters looking to refine their workflow and confidence inside the box. This session will be using Roland Cloud Plug ins inside Ableton Live, however all major DAWs are compatible.
All participants receive a free 30-day trial of Roland Cloud! Join the webinar to get your download link.
