APRA AMCOS is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for everyone.
We expect everyone involved with APRA AMCOS to respect others, and to act lawfully, safely and responsibly. These expectations apply to our members, staff, advisory groups partners, award nominees, award winners and everyone involved in any APRA AMCOS function, event and program, and to partners and contractors in their dealings with APRA AMCOS.
We believe everyone should be treated fairly and in accordance with the APRA AMCOS core values of respect and accountability.
We believe there is no place for any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, vilification, sexual harassment or violence in our workplace, our industry and our society.
We respect cultural, ethnic, religious, disability, age, gender and sexual orientation differences.
Our expectation is we all act with integrity, transparency and honesty, staying professional and courteous and always creating and maintaining a safe environment for others.
We ask ourselves and our community to speak up if there are breaches of these expectations.
APRA AMCOS reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to take any action it deems appropriate to uphold these expectations, including in respect of its functions, awards, events and programs.

Social Media Guidelines
These guidelines are in place to help create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment across all social media channels operated by APRA AMCOS.
APRA AMCOS welcomes open conversation and diverse perspectives across all its social media channels. To ensure we maintain a respectful and safe environment for our community, we will act to moderate, mask or remove any content that does not comply with our standards and expectations and, where necessary, block or restrict users.
Our Expectations
While APRA AMCOS is strongly committed to open and honest discussion, when engaging on our social media channels users are expected to:
- be respectful, courteous and constructive;
- recognise and value the rights, privacy and views of others; and
- stay on topic and remain relevant to the post.
Unacceptable Content
APRA AMCOS does not tolerate any content on our social media channels that is unlawful, including:
- language that is discriminatory or defamatory;
- behaviour that is abusive or threatening or constitutes harassment;
- conduct or statements that incite hatred or are intentionally harmful or otherwise could be considered hate crimes.
APRA AMCOS will also act to hide, remove or report any content or conduct that involves:
- spam or other promotional materials;
- repetitive or off topic posts;
- the sharing of personal, confidential or sensitive information; or
- material that otherwise violates platform guidelines.
