APRA AMCOS joins the Blackout Tuesday movement in solidarity with First Nations and Black Communities and those fighting against social injustice.
We echo the voices of our members and creators across the world and condemn a history of racism, bigotry and violence.
In particular we acknowledge the 400 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander deaths in custody since the 1991 Royal Commission.
APRA AMCOS will be silent on our social media channels and communications to take the time to listen, reflect and educate ourselves on the social injustice that happens here and around the globe.
CBAA has partnered with Los Angeles tastemaker radio station KCRW for dedicated Aussie music segment.
Congrats to Anna Thérèse and finalists Tom Southey, BOI (Anna Buckingham), Mariam Sawires.
Singer-songwriter and APRA AMCOS Ambassador Gina Williams was one of 12 members recognised for their service.
