Inject additional funds into your music project by submitting your setlists to APRA AMCOS
Live performance royalties are an important income stream for lots of our members
Submit your setlists in the APRA AMCOS App or Portal
It’s a busy time of year with touring, grant writing, or heading into the studio to write through the winter months. If you’re out there gigging, did you know you can earn money from live performance royalties? It’s a whole separate income stream, in addition to ticket sales.
Live performance royalties are a reliable and important source of income for lots of our members. It’s money that can feed directly back into your music project, or help with the bills or groceries. In order to claim those royalties, you need to submit your gig setlists to APRA AMCOS. We call them ‘Performance Reports’, and you can do it in either the APRA AMCOS App or via the Portal.

So far this financial year, 6,590 of you have submitted 130,296 setlists. That is 2,310,000 songs! Additionally, members have performed 40,000 more songs than in the last financial year, and we’ve still got 6 weeks left. We love to see it!
ICYMI - we have an app! It's super easy to submit Performance Reports straight after the gig. Psst, you can also register works, view earnings and change any account details in the app. Get it for free from the App Store or Google Play. Just use the same login details as you use for the Writer Portal.
"The performance reports feel like a small amount of background work that builds up over time and adds up to quite a chunk of finance."

"It's so important to be able to get your performance royalties, after all, you spend so much time creating and spending money to get the music out to the world, it’s important to see some return.”

"Getting to play live gigs and getting paid for it is a dream come true. Performance Reports are a fantastic source of income on top of ticket sales. We pour our hearts into writing, practising and putting on a show. We’re out there hustling, so we deserve to see the money coming in."
- Nathan May
"Submitting performance reports provides a wonderful little stream of income that trickles in, but really adds up! It’s cool to know that every time we perform, we are entitled to earnings (no matter how big or small) and so important to recognise how much we truly deserve by getting out there sharing our gifts!"

Cafes, pubs and other live music venues all pay a licence fee for the use of live music to OneMusic. The pool of those royalties are then distributed to members who perform live music and submit their performance reports. Without submitting your Performance Reports, we won’t know that you’ve performed and won’t know to distribute those important royalties to you!
